I have received positive feedback for my pitch stating it was detailed and well planed although there are too many ideas going on at once. For the group treatment I will use less special effects to create more impact instead of over complicating the video. I will also simplify more of the editing techniques, such as keeping mirroring effects to make the video interesting without over complicating it.
A very detailed presentation considering a lot of different features of the music video. I think the first idea is more suited to the band and genre and considering the young target audience. I think the second idea of using black and white might send the wrong message about the band/track making it seem dated. There are some fantastic ideas working with green screen, split screen, animation etc but there needs to be more focus and more refinement to have a more final structured idea and to be sure of how it will be delivered. I really like the stylistic 80s feel of the video and think this suits the spacey feel of the track. I'm not sure if the ground hog day narrative can also support a voyeuristic feel, maybe simplifying it is best. Also how will we know the girl is bored? What activities will she be doing to connote her boredom but to engage the audience at the same time? A lot of effort has been made with this idea but it needs more refinement.
